It all started in the ‘80’s…

Tim Lindholm founded Tim's Quality Plumbing in 1981. His dad, Art, had been a drain cleaner for years. As a little boy, Tim often accompanied Art on jobs and was a very mechanical and capable helper for Art. Tim figured out as a teen that he could make a good income as a drain cleaner. Art convinced his own employer to hire Tim at 16, with the agreement that Art would back him when he needed help on jobs. Tim became an independent subcontractor, cleaning drains out of his own truck with his own tools at 16.

The rest is history….

A family business was born…

Tim married his wife Hope in 1988. In 1989, Tim hired her to manage the office responsibilities of the business. Hope also apprenticed with Tim on evening and weekend jobs until they started their family. Tim proceeded to get his journeyman plumber's license then went on to get his master plumber's license.  Tim followed in his own father’s footsteps when his son Andrew was born. As a little boy Andrew often accompanied Tim on jobs as his helper.

As his family grew, so did the business.

Our customers are what we care about most!

Tim understood from the beginning that repeat customers are very important to a business. He put a sticker up on each job so a customer could easily find his company again without having to go back to the phone book. He tracked advertising closely and asked each customer how they found the company. Tim wanted his business to grow at a slow and steady pace, while paying close attention to quality workmanship at a fair price. He advertised "no job too small" to encourage customers to call for any sized plumbing repair. His wife has worked alongside him the entire time, while raising their four children.

Years later, Tim's Quality Plumbing is still a family owned and operated business. Andrew, Tim's son, is now a journeyman plumber. He and Chantal, Tim's oldest daughter, are managing the daily operations of Tim's Quality Plumbing.
